One of the two primary focuses of the work of PRIMENT Clinical Trials Unit is mental health, and the Unit is involved in studies investigating mental health and behavioural change interventions to improve the health of the population.
The Comprehensive Clinical Trials Unit at UCL (CCTU) also works closely with clinicians and coordinators from UCL's neuroscience research community to increase the capacity for clinical trials in neurology, as part of the Queen Square Clinical Trials Centre.

UCL's PRIMENT Clinical Trials Unit has completed or is currently conducting a number of clinical trials related to mental health, including studies investigating behavioural interventions to prevent depression and strategies to promote the mental health of carers of people with dementia.
