Will the Festival be family-friendly?
All events are open to people of all ages. There will be a number of events that are part suitable for children such as the family activities at the Petrie Museum and Grant Museum, Rock around UCL: Finding the hidden geology in the campus’s building stones, and the hands on exhibits in the North Cloisters.
Will I be able to park on campus?
There will be a very limited number of parking spaces, so please make alternative arrangements. Parking on campus is by arrangement and will be reserved for people with access issues – please contact ovpd.events@ucl.ac.uk for more information.
Will food be provided?
There will be a number of food trucks in the main Quad to suit all tastes and dietary requirements. Please note you will only be able to pay cash.
Will the activities be free?
All Festival related events will be free to all guests. However, some events are ticketed and we would strongly encourage you to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
Can I bring my friends to the Festival?
The Festival is open to everyone. Please make sure you register all your guests to avoid disappointment.
Do I have to register for every event?
Some of the activities do not require registration, for example some of the Exhibits, Workshops and Displays. We have clearly marked which events require booking.
Tickets are going fast, so please make sure you register for any ticketed event you will attend to avoid disappointment. Please do also get in touch to let us know if for any reason you may not be able to make it.
I can no longer attend, do I need to cancel my booking?
Tickets are going fast, so do get in touch to let us know if for any reason you may not be able to make it so we can free up tickets to other guests.
Can I attend events that are fully booked?
Due to the popularity of the Festival some events have become fully booked. There is still a chance that some of the people who have made reservations may not attend. So if you are interested in joining a fully booked event, we recommend that you join the queue at least 15 minutes before the event starts. Please note we cannot guarantee entry.
