Support for students

At the IGP, The student wellbeing support officer and Institute Manager are trained in Mental Health First Aid. Students can contact Amanda Pearce (Student wellbeing support officer) at: amanda.pearce.20@ucl.ac.uk

If you feel that you would like to talk to someone outside of the department, then you can access appointments (including same-day appointments) with an adviser at UCL here: Seeing an adviser | Students - UCL – University College London

You can also access counselling at: Student Psychological and Counselling Services | Students - UCL – University College London. Students who contact this service will be triaged within 24 hours. However, waiting times can vary depending on how busy the service is.

For 24 hours a day, you can contact the UCL Student Support Line on: +44 (0) 808 238 0077. This service can be used for anything which you feel is impacting your mental health and wellbeing. You can find more information about this at UCL 24/7 Student Support Line | Students - UCL – University College London.
