We’re proud to be part of The Bartlett - #1 in the world in Architecture and the Built Environment for the second year in a row, and remaining #1 in the UK for the tenth year in a row (QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024). In the latest national research assessment (REF 2021), we are number one for Research Power in the built environment, and 91% of our research has been deemed ‘World Leading’ and ‘Internationally Excellent’.

Sustainable Built Environment, Energy and Resources BSc/MEng
New for the 2023/24 academic year, this BSc/MEng programme provides the vital skills needed to help design and create a more sustainable future, and is the first of its kind to bring together the three primary aspects of sustainability: social, economic and environmental.
This four-year programme has been designed in close collaboration with industry leaders, to combine the major disciplines of architecture and engineering of the built environment and prepare graduates to be future industry leaders.

Sustainability & Higher Education Initiative
We are driving forward sustainability in higher education, focusing on how we implement, evaluate, and research teaching and learning in sustainability. With our new initiative, we will link our network of academics, alumni and students with the higher education sector and wider society.
