24 April 2024

The UCL Summer School is inviting proposals for the development of new modules for summer 2025 and beyond.

The Summer School offers the opportunity for students from around the world to study at UCL for three or six weeks and gain credit towards their degree programmes at their home institutions. All modules are taught for 15 credits through a blend of lectures, seminars and excursions over a three-week period.

Last year the programme welcomed just under 900 students from over 200 universities around the world, many of whom went on to apply for Master’s programmes at UCL. Find full details of the programme

The Summer School is looking to expand its offer and would particularly welcome expressions of interest from colleagues interested in developing modules in the following subject areas:

  • Architecture
  • Art / Design
  • Computer Science
  • Engineering
  • Linguistics
  • Psychology
  • Robotics / Artificial Intelligence
  • Sustainable Built Environments

Teaching dates will be:

  • Session One: 30 June to 18 July 2025
  • Session Two: 21 July to 8 August 2025

Payment starts at £4,500 for modules of 12-15 students and increases incrementally (£5,000 for 20 students, £6,000 for 25 students, £7,000 for 30 students).

Colleagues who might be interested in developing a module or would like to discuss this opportunity further should contact the Head of UCL Summer School, Rhod Fiorini (r.fiorini@ucl.ac.uk).
