Submit an abstract for UCL Education Conference 2023

22 November 2022

The conference will take place in-person on Wednesday 19 April, with an online launch on Tuesday 18 April.

The theme of the UCL Education Conference 2023 will be Designing Futures-focused Education and will be held at the IOE, UCL's Faculty of Education and Society.

This conference is an opportunity for staff, students and external colleagues to think forward. Through a series of keynotes, presentations, panels and workshops, we will collaborate to address questions such as:

  • What will universities look like in 10- or 20-years’ time?
  • How will employment change in different sectors?
  • What will students and employers expect of us?

These questions are important. Change in universities takes time and energy, and we need to do everything possible to ensure we are designing the kinds of change that will make us effective, resilient, and sustainable for the future.

Innovations in teaching and learning

Delegates will come together to share their innovations in teaching and learning and discuss how we can enhance our education to develop our students and prepare them for their futures.
