Teaching toolkits relaunched in a user-friendly format

15 October 2019

A bank of useful teaching guides are now available in a searchable and accessible format on the Teaching & Learning Portal.

Curated by the UCL Arena team, the 20+ guides cover topics such as:

  • Assessment and feedback
  • Teaching methods
  • Academic support
  • Research supervision
  • Your professional development
  • Curriculum design

They include a printable PDF and many include lists of resources for further information.

The new format means they are now accessible to all users and are searchable by keyword or topic, making it easier to find what you need.

The toolkits are complemented by a range of events in the UCL Arena Centre and a bank of over 200 case studies from colleagues at UCL.

More toolkits are in development, covering topics such as inclusivity, student wellbeing and personal tutoring, so check back often to see when new guides are published, or subscribe to the monthly education newsletter.

If you have great tips for your colleagues at UCL and would like to suggest a new toolkit, or help develop one, contact the Arena Centre arena@ucl.ac.uk.
