As a module lead you may be looking for ways to improve assessment but are not sure what changes you can make without having to go through a formal amendment process. The good news is there are small and incremental interventions you can make whilst still aligning to the agreed and validated programme design. This session will provide practical guidance and suggestions to improve assessment at module level and will cover:
Principles of good assessment design and common challenges.
Introducing diversity in your assessment methods.
Building in formative assessment and feedback opportunities.
Supporting students in understanding goals, criteria and standards.
