How to work in partnership with your students (and why do it?) 6 January online)

06 January 2023, 1:00 pm–2:00 pm

Students as Partners, Student-Staff partnerships, co-creating with students are just some terms used to describe the process of actively involving students in educational enhancement activity. But what does this mean? And should you be doing it? In this session, we will provide both a theoretical underpinning for working with students as partners – including different terminology - and what that means for your own practice. This session will then go on offer some practical advice and examples that you can take back to your own practice. We will provide reflections on our own partnership work and the value that has added and share examples of how colleagues across UCL have brought about change through their own partnership work. We will then offer two schemes we offer as a way of supporting partnership work at UCL that you might be interested in pursuing.

This event is free.
