The one-hour workshop for teaching and teaching support staff will explore common challenges and opportunities in relation to work with diverse and multicultural cohorts.
The session will touch on the following themes:
- how to to know our students and challenge cultural stereotypes
- students' perspectives on class interaction and rapport with staff
- online vs. face-to-face intercultural communication and non-verbal communication
- assessment literacy
- how to internationalise the curriculum beyond student mobility.
