Looking for new ways to enrich your students’ academic experience, your teaching practice and make the most of UCL’s London location? If so, come along to our University-Community Co-design Workshops.

Working alongside UCL students and representatives from London’s voluntary and community sector, you’ll be co-designing curricular opportunities that’ll help enhance your students’ learning inside and outside the classroom.

You will also be co-designing the principles of Community Engaged Learning at UCL for the development of a Community Engaged Learning Curriculum Framework.

During the University-Community Co-design Workshop 1, you will:

  • Get the opportunity to collaborate with students and community partners and co-design the key principles of Community Engaged Learning (Learning Outcomes, Teaching and Learning and Assessment)
  • Network with external partners
  • Co-design collaborative projects for your teaching
  • Better understand the needs of community partners for ensuring sustainable partnerships in your teaching
  • Feedback on the development of resources and support needed to develop fruitful partnerships with community partners

Lunch will be provided.

Who should attend

You should attend if you are a member of academic staff at UCL.

Organised by the Community Engaged Learning Service at UCL (UCL Arena and UCL Culture). These workshops are sponsored by the Higher Education Innovation Fund (HEIF).
