Plagiarism and cheating behaviours might affect all university stakeholders: fake applications, purchasing essays and copying during exams can affect UCL credibility and the validity of the degrees our students are obtaining.

Contract cheating has become a successful business, and we need to develop appropriate instruments to tackle this phenomenon.

This workshop will:

  • review participants' experiences
  • present UCL and the national situation, and;
  • develop a manifesto for tackling contract cheating

After attending this session you will

  • understand UCL's approach to plagiarism and contract cheating
  • contribute to UCL's approach

Who should attend

You should attend if you are a member of UCL staff who teaches.

Postgraduate Teaching Assistants and all early career educators will find this session particularly useful.
