Plagiarism and cheating behaviours might affect all university stakeholders: fake applications, purchasing essays and copying during exams can affect UCL credibility and the validity of the degrees our students are obtaining.
Contract cheating has become a successful business, and we need to develop appropriate instruments to tackle this phenomenon.
This workshop will:
- review participants' experiences
- present UCL and the national situation, and;
- develop a manifesto for tackling contract cheating
After attending this session you will
- understand UCL's approach to plagiarism and contract cheating
- contribute to UCL's approach
Who should attend
You should attend if you are a member of UCL staff who teaches.
Postgraduate Teaching Assistants and all early career educators will find this session particularly useful.
