UCL Arena Centre are delivering this session, which is open to all staff at UCL who teach students.

The workshop explores strategies to engage large cohorts of students in lectures via interactive activities.  

This workshop will cover:

  • Innovative teaching approaches 
  • Active learning  
  • Teaching with the support of technologies 
  • Student engagement and participation in class 
  • Design of teaching activities for large cohorts 
  • Interactive lectures 

After attending this session you will 

  • have reflected on their teaching approaches and the needs of their students 

  • have developed teaching skills  

  • understand innovative approaches and active learning 

  • understand strategies to teach with technology 

Who should attend 

You should attend if you are a member of UCL staff who teaches.  

Postgraduate Teaching Assistants and all early career educators will find this session particularly useful.
