Open to all UCL staff who are interested in engaging local and/or wider communities in their teaching and assessment.
You will explore different ways to enhance student experience through community engagement as part of your programme design.
This workshop will:
- use a series of practical activities to encourage the exchange of ideas
- share good practice and vision in order to engage community partners in the UCL EAST programme design and;
- enable discussion on the type of support needed to embed collaborative work with community partners in the UCL EAST programmes
After attending this session you will
- be able to experiment with different approaches of community engagement
- reflect on how your new programme could look like by embedding activities with communities in your teaching/assessment as a preparation for PMAP
- feedback on the support you need enhance your new programme
Who should attend
You should attend if you are a member of UCL staff offering a programme at UCL EAST and UCL staff who leads a programme or module.
