External speaker, Professor Jo Tomalin (San Francisco State University) is delivering this session, which is open to all staff at UCL who teach and present to an audience. 

In this interactive workshop, you will take part in practical theatre activities and theatre games to develop your presentation and teaching style.

This will enhance your student/audience learning experience. 

This workshop will:

  • practice creative interactive teaching/learning activities
  • create a supportive classroom learning environment

    You should wear comfortable clothes and footwear to help with movement 

After attending this session you will

  • understand how to use theatre techniques to improve your presentation style
  • gain confidence and spontaneity when you teach/present, and;
  • understand the value interactivity and learning

Postgraduate Teaching Assistants and all early career educators will find this session particularly useful.
