UCL Arena Centre are delivering this session, which is open to all staff at UCL.  

Working in partnership has numerous benefits to both staff and student and during this workshop you will explore methods for successful partnership. 

This workshop will: 

  • introduce the concept of working with students as partners
  • consider to what extent you could work in partnership with the students on your course, and; 
  • highlight effective methods for staff-student partnerships

After attending this session you will

  • understand the benefits of staff-student partnership
  • be able to identify areas of your curriculum that could be developed with your students
  • know how to develop a curriculum in partnership with your students

Who should attend

Early career educators will find this session particularly useful.

Presenter Information

This session is delivered by UCL Arena Centre's, Dr Jenny Marie (PFHEA).  Jenny is a Principal Teaching Fellow and Director of UCL ChangeMakers, which supports students and staff to work in partnership to enhance education at UCL.  Jenny works closely with departments and provides specific support for ASER Intensive departments.  Jenny ensure's that plans recieve sufficient student input through ASER facilitators.
