UCL Equality, Diversity and Inclusion are delivering this session, which is open to all staff at UCL.

In this workshop you will understand how to create a positive learning space for students from diverse backgrounds.
You will also hear about the impact on students if their needs are not considered.
This workshop will:
- set out legal context
- explore barriers to inclusive teaching
- provide tips to achieve inclusion and;
- take away actions

- understand The Equality Act 2010
- be able to identifiy stereotype threat and confirmation bias
- identify inclusion in a variety of contexts
- be clear on your personal responsibility
