The Burns, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery programme at UCL will be holding an Open Day for prospective students on Friday 12th May 2016, 15:00-18:00. This will be held at our teaching facilities at the Royal Free Hospital - 9th Floor.
The Open day will comprise of a short introduction to the course and admission requirements, you will have the opportunity to visit to our labs and facilities based at UCL Royal Free Hospital Campus. You will also have plenty of opportunities to interact with faculty and current students.
Burns, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery MSc
The only programme of its kind within the UK, the MSc in Burns, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery aims to impart a core knowledge and understanding of reconstructive surgery and equip healthcare professionals and scientists with the research techniques and translational tools necessary for research in this expanding field. Students will acquire both scientific and clinical research skills in plastic and reconstructive surgery, develop the necessary transferable skills (laboratory, critical, synthetic), and learn an appreciation of the needs and requirements of patients requiring this speciality.
Professor Peter Butler leads a cohort of the Royal Free Hospital's top consultants and scientists in the delivery of this programme.
