Research study participants needed

31 May 2016

Are you female and regularly exercise? Divisional Graduate Research Student, Georgie Bruinvels, is currently recruiting exercising females to participate in a study as part of her PhD.

The study is conducting research looking at the impact of iron deficiency in exercising females. So far the research has found iron deficiency is really common and often unknown, particularly in athletes, as part of Georgie's PhD, she is looking for females of all abilities who exercise for at least 90 minutes per week, who think they could be iron deficient, to become part of her research study.

As part of the study (if you are found to be low in iron) you will have some blood tests alongside an exercise test (VO2 max) which will provide you with information about your general fitness.
