Peter Smitham Awarded BORS Travelling Fellowship

Peter Smitham, Clinical Lecturer in Orthopaedic Surgery at UCL and Orthopaedic Registrar at RNOH, has been awarded the biennial British Orthopaedic Research Society Travelling Fellowship.
The award allows one
clinician, allied health professional, bioengineer and bio-scientist to travel
together to leading centres around the world in order to develop collaborations
and gain valuable insight into different research environments.
The fellowship commenced in March 2014 at the Orthopaedic Research Society Meeting in New Orleans, before moving onto centres in New York (Mount Sinai Hospital, Columbia University and The Hospital for Special Surgery), University of Adelaide, Claire Valley Biennial Bone Meeting, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shanghai (The 9th Peoples Hospital and Shanghai Jiao Tong University) and will end in Berlin at the Charité Institute, five weeks later.
