To access MyHR and MyLearning, you will need to use the UCL VPN or Desktop@UCL.

The booking system is open to anyone with an active UCL userID (e.g. ucccabc). The system requires a training profile on MyHR to allocate your place:

If you use MyHR or MyFinance, you will already have a training profile to enrol.
For all other users, please wait for five minutes after selecting enrol and do not refresh your page. A training profile will be created for you. After this, future enrolments will be quicker.

The Writing Series: Editing for Publication
Course Description: An experienced editor and writer who has guided many researchers through the process cuts through complexities to the underlying important factors. This session will cover: Choosing your journal Writing and formatting your paper in a journal-friendly way Dealing with reviewers' and editors' critiques and suggestions Post publication strategy: social and mainstream media Please complete pre-course exercises prior to the live session. These will be sent to you via email from the the course facilitator.
Objectives: By the end of this course you will be able to: Negotiate finding an appropriate journal Tailor your paper to stand the best chance of publication Develop your own effective drafting process Develop a confident post publication strategy
