Working title of thesis: The Drivers and Economic Impacts of Government Interventions Induced by the COVID-19 Pandemic: Evidence from Developed and Emerging Markets

Research: My research aims to 1) investigate the facilitators of different categories of NPIs in both developed and emerging economies; and 2) examine the economic impacts of NPIs from a multilevel perspective in both developed and emerging markets by analysing the effects on stock market volatility across sectors and 3) measure the effects on the gendered division of labour outside and within the household, drawing implications for gender equality.

Research interests: Comparative economics, emerging markets, financial markets, etc.
