Welcome to UCL’s Division of Student and Registry Services (SRS).
As one of UCL’s Professional Services Divisions, SRS is responsible for providing services to all students throughout their time at UCL, from admission to graduation, and for supporting our academic departments in delivering a high quality student experience. We also play a key role in co-ordinating UCL's governance processes and academic quality assurance operations.
Further information about the structure and activities of SRS is available on our main webpage
SRS departments are located on several different sites. Most of the division is based across the 7th - 9th floors of 1-19 Torrington Place. The in-person Student Support and Wellbeing Services desk is located on the first floor of the Student Centre Building, 27-28 Gordon Square.
The Recruitment and Admissions Hub (RAH) can be found on the ground floor of the Chadwick Building and there are other SRS teams based in 20 Bedford Way, Bidborough House, and at 3-4 Taviton Street. SRS numbers are upwards of 250 staff in total.
Your colleagues will give you further information about the division over the course of the next few weeks and your line manager will ensure that you are booked on to relevant UCL training activities.
UCL Human Resources will have contacted you to obtain the necessary items to enter you onto the payroll. Please ensure that you respond in full to their requests in a timely fashion, to avoid any delay in receiving your first salary payment.
In addition to the main UCL HR induction materials you will receive information and documents directly from your line manager and in an email sent to you by our SRS Staffing Administrator on or shortly after your first day. If you have any queries relating to these materials or your commencement of employment with us which your line manager is unable to answer, please do get in touch by writing to srs-hr@ucl.ac.uk.
I do hope you will enjoy working with us.
Yours sincerely
Student and Registry Services
