Timetabling Event Data Collection Exercise (for the creation of the 2024/25 timetable)

The Central Timetabling Team launched the Timetabling Event Data Collection Exercise (for the creation of the 2024/25 timetable) on Monday 15 January.

This year, to prevent unnecessary re-entry of information, we have rolled over existing event data in our timetabling application (CMIS) for the next academic year. CMIS teaching event data for 2023/24 will appear in the 2024/25 data set.  

Please find below the key dates for the exercise:

• w/c 15th of January: CMIS Dataset Training and access to the dataset – please see email communications, or contact your Faculty Timetabling Coordinator for details.
• Fri 8th of March: deadline for CMIS entry of large events (capacity 187+)
• Fri 22nd of March: deadline for CMIS entry of all remaining event data.
