Research Degrees Upcoming Training Sessions

The Research Degrees team will be offering two training sessions which will be held online on Teams on 30th April and 7^th May 2024 at 2pm.

The first session will focus on Portico; How to use all the functionality within the research student management container, research degree examiner: view, student summaries & BOBI reports. There will also be discussion of students' and supervisors' views of processes (CRS extension/Exam entry).

The second session will focus on processes; Interruptions of study, study leave, enrolment, re-enrolment, CRS, examination, examiner nominations, viva, timelines and expected end dates.

The session will also include information on standard letters that are sent to students, supervisors and examiners by the research degrees team.

These sessions are primarily focused towards an administrative audience, but departmental graduate tutors may also find these sessions useful, and are welcome to attend.

It is recommended that any member of staff involved with research students should join the PGR Administrators Forum on UCL Teams.
