Introduction and welcome to new senior Student and Registry Services staff

We are pleased to introduce two new Directors joining the SRS Senior Management Team following the restructure of Academic Services into two new teams, Education Services and Student Operations.

Zak Liddell joined us earlier this month as Director of Education Services and brings a wealth of experience from his previous role as Director of Education and Student Experience in the Faculty of Mathematical and Physical Sciences. The Director of Education Services is responsible for student casework, academic policy, quality and standards, and student engagement.

Daniel Farrell has taken up the new role of Director of Student Operations, coming to UCL with a significant background in data transformation from the University of St. Andrews. The Director of Student Operations is responsible for student lifecycle, portico governance, research degrees, student data, assessments and timetabling.

Another welcome addition to SRS is Ashley Doolan who joins us as Head of Academic Policy, Quality and Standards. Ashley brings a breadth of knowledge from the Joint Faculties where he was previously the Deputy Faculty Tutor. Reporting to Zak, Ashley will oversee academic policy, regulations, programme and module approval, degree apprenticeships, academic partnerships, and our quality framework.
