Late Summer Assessment (LSA)

28 June 2023

Key dates and deadlines for the LSA

The LSA exam period for centrally run assessments will run from 21 August to 8 September 2023

Results Deadline: 5pm 3 July

The Central Assessment Team will download the student data for the LSA timetable in early July.  It is essential that all marks for centrally managed assessments have been input and processed; and that Exam Board decisions are fully processed in Portico by the 3 July deadline, to ensure that we are picking up the correct records for inclusion in the assessment timetable.

Draft Timetable Review: 12-17 July

The draft timetable along with candidate lists will be circulated to Examination Liaison Officers on 12 July, and we will require any corrections to this information by 17 July at the latest.

Publication of Final Timetable: The final timetable will be published to students on 24 July.

Deadline for Question Papers: 24 July

The Central Assessment Team will send out cover sheets to departments on Thursday 13 July, with instructions on how to submit.

If you are unable to meet the deadline then you will be required to upload your question papers to AssessmentUCL yourselves by 31 July at the latest; or for in person examinations, print sufficient copies of the paper and hand deliver these to the Central Assessment Team no later than three working days prior to the date of the exam.

Failure to meet these deadlines may result in your examination being cancelled.

Students requiring Exam Adjustments must apply by 31 July in order to guarantee that their arrangements can be put in place.
