Directory of Portico Functionality

New resource to help staff discover what Portico has to offer

The new Directory of Portico Functionality has been designed to raise awareness of the range of tasks and reports available to support staff with their day-to-day use of this system. The directory will be of particular use to department and faculty administrators and academics, especially those new to UCL.

Access to specific Portico areas and functions is granted on request and with approval from the Head of Department or Examination Liaison Officer. The directory includes a brief description of the purpose or process of each Portico function along with likely users to help staff find the tasks and reports that are helpful in their roles but to which they may not currently have access. Information about the process for requesting additional access is included on the directory home page.

At present the directory covers the following areas:

  • My Portico
  • Awards, Assessment and Achievements
  • Curricular Management
  • Student Module Selection
  • Student Finance Management
  • Research Student Management

More areas will be included in future updates and you are encouraged to activate the “watch” feature to receive email notifications as new information is added.

Training for Portico users is now being provided by the Portico Governance Team. Further information can be found in the article Portico introduction and refresher training.
