Portico migration to the Cloud postponed

Planned activities continue while revised timeline is prepared

The decision has been made to postpone the migration of Portico to the Cloud environment to allow more time to prepare for the modernisation of this critical service.

Planned activities will continue over the coming months which include user acceptance testing of the Portico Cloud application and services that take data from Portico, such as Moodle and the timetabling system (CMIS). The additional time will also be used to develop more test automation with the aim of reducing the volume of manual testing required for future service upgrades.

A revised timeline is being prepared with our partners, Tribal, and a new date for the migration will be confirmed in due course.
