Module Selection

Module selection closed on 13 May and we’re delighted to share that 90% of our continuing students submitted their preferred modules for next academic year. 

For the first time departments can plan ahead using actual student data.  

Thank you to everyone for all their hard work in helping us to achieve such a high level of engagement from students.  This is a fantastic achievement particularly as it’s the first time we have engaged with students at this time of the year. 

Department Planning

To support departmental planning and inform decisions we have produced a Module Selection Planning Toolkit.  The toolkit explains the different reports available in Portico, how to access them along with guidance on how to make the best use of the module selection data.  Please also refer to the Module Selection Support webpages which contains lots of useful information for departments on module selection including how to use Portico and timelines.

Re-selection opens on 18 July 

Students will be informed about their modules on 18 July and those who were unsuccessful will be invited to re-select. 

New Student Programme Diet Review 

Please complete your review of diets required for new student module selection (i.e. year 1 diets) by 31 May 2022. Guidance can be found on the Curriculum Data Maintenance webpages.
