2022 Graduation Ceremonies

In-person ceremonies academic year 2022 

We are pleased to confirm UCL is planning on holding in-person graduation ceremonies this year.  Ceremonies will be held in the Logan Hall at the IOE in July (mainly PGT ceremonies) and September (mainly UG ceremonies).  

The Graduation Team will be in touch with Faculties shortly to discuss plans for their Ceremonies.  In the meantime, any questions should be emailed to ceremonies@ucl.ac.uk. 

Student Registration 

Invitation emails to register for a 2022 Graduation Ceremony will be sent to eligible students the week commencing 28 March 2022. 

Eligible students will be given a provisional date and time for their ceremony.  If they wish to attend, they need to register by 5pm on the 21 April 2022.   

We will aim to send final email confirmation of graduation ceremony dates to registered students for the July ceremonies during week commencing 02 May 2022 and for the September ceremonies during week commencing 08 July 2022.

Eligibility 

Awards conferred by the following deadlines will be invited to attend a ceremony in July or September 2022:   

Students sitting in the LSA period in the summer of 2022 will not be eligible to attend a ceremony in 2022.  They will be invited to a ceremony in Summer 2023. 

Departments will be able to run reports in Portico to check which students have been invited to a Ceremony.  The reports can be found in the Awards, Assessments and Achievements section in the Graduation and Awards container.

We will notify departments through the Faculty TEAM channels when the reports are ready to use.
