Students moving to CRS during the 2022-23 academic year

The Research Degrees team need to collect details of students moving to CRS next year.  Because of the way fees are collected, students are charged fees up to the date they move to CRS so we will need to know if this date is at the start or later in the 2022 academic session. It would help us if you could compile a spreadsheet for your department/DTC/CDT with the students' numbers, names and the date they will move to CRS and email this to the Research Degrees team.

Students must have upgraded to PhD and have completed the minimum required registration period - three years full time or five years part time – before CRS.  UKRI and other funded students should not move to CRS for the period of any extension where fees are covered by the funder.  They may need to move to CRS after this if they will not be ready to submit within the period of their funding.

We will need this information before students are asked to enrol in late August.  Please note that we will have a large number of records to update so please bear with us while we work through all the information you send.
