Continuing Student Module Selection Update

Module selection for our continuing students opened on Monday 4 Apri) and so far 63% of our continuing students have engaged with the process (i.e. have either submitted or saved their selections in Portico).

Students have until 13 May to submit their preferred modules.  We will continue to promote the deadline to students, reminder emails will be sent to students who have not completed the task ahead of the deadline. We will also be promoting module selection in central student comms channels. We will share the student information with departments via faculties (i.e. those who have not engaged and will need department follow-up).  We will also share the wording of our central reminder emails so that departments can replicate the same message.  

Our student webpages have been updated to include user guide and FAQs. There’s also lots of additional information for staff on our staff webpages.  The Student Lifecycle team plan will hold another briefing   on Friday 6 May 2022 from 12:00 to 1:00 to answer staff queries about which reports to use once student selection closes and module selection plans and timelines up to October 2022.
