New Portico Reports for Research Student Management

The Research Degrees Team, in conjunction with the Portico Enhancements Team, have created a new set of reports in Portico specifically aimed at Research Degree students. These will be available to Faculty Graduate Tutors, Faculty Postgraduate Research Administrators, Departmental Graduate Tutors, and Departmental Postgraduate Research Administrators and have been designed with an element of functionality, including links to the MPhil-PhD Upgrade task and the Research Supervisor Maintenance task directly from the reports.

They will not replace the existing BOBI Reports, but it is hoped they will act as a useful compliment, especially with the increased functionality.

There are eight reports in the container, which cover the following:

• Core Information
• MPhil-PhD Upgrade
• Exam Entry and Submission Information
• Examiner Information
• Viva Information
• Final Submission / Award Information
• Interruptions
• Single Student Information

All reports (except for the Single Student Information) can be downloaded to a csv file.

The reports are contained in the Research Student Management container, you will be able to access the link from the top-level navigation bar. If this link is not immediately obvious click the + icon and the menu will expand.

We would recommend that you take the time to read the user guide which will explain how to access the reports and covers the functionality.
