Updated Placement Agreement Templates

Following the recent changes to the Government’s Student Sponsor Guidance, the immigration provisions in the UCL Placement Agreement templates have been updated. The updated templates are available to download from a link in Chapter 8 of the Academic Manual: The Academic Partnerships Framework ( see bottom of the landing page – UCL login required): https://www.ucl.ac.uk/academic-manual/chapters/chapter-8-academic-partnerships-framework 

UCL Departments with programmes that include placements should ensure they are using the updated templates from now on for any placement activity. Existing agreements do not necessarily need to be amended until they expire unless the expiry date is far in the future. As a rule of thumb, if the agreement is still in force for more than two years, a new agreement on the updated template should be drafted and signed with the placement organisation.
