No Detriment Classification for 2019-20 Assessments

A new student webpage has been published to help explain how the 2019/20 No Detriment policy will affect students’ classifications when they graduate. This includes:

• Clear start and end dates for when No Detriment does and doesn’t apply
• Examples of how No Detriment will affect UG and PGT classifications, including where the Best 50% of assessments will be used, and where a year will be weighted at 0
• Examples of how the First Year Capstone project will be included in classification
• Examples of how No Detriment will affect Integrated Masters progression requirements

Work is underway to build all of the rules into Portico. Academic Services will be in touch with departments soon to arrange checking and testing.
