Curriculum Data Maintenance: Modules and Assessments 

The Curriculum Data Maintenance: Modules and Assessments task (within the Curricular Management section of Portico) will be opened so that you can make changes to modules for 2021/22 ready for the publication of the UCL Module Catalogue for 2021/22 which will take place in March 2021. Within this task you can make the following changes: 

• Withdraw modules (ie indicate that the module will never run again) 
• Suspend and un-suspend modules and module deliveries for 2021/22
• Amend module delivery teaching terms 
• Amend module catalogue information such as the module description, keywords, contact information and tutor

Assessment Changes for 2021/22

We will make available spreadsheets based on the current module assessment data for 2020/21 for you to record module delivery assessment changes for 2021/22 instead of completing a Module Amendment Form (MAF). On the spreadsheet, you will be able to indicate the following: 

• Assessment weighting changes 
• Changes to methods of assessment 

Faculty approval will be required on these spreadsheets for changes. Where an assessment change forms part of a major programme amendment, this should be indicated on the spreadsheet by departments for PMAP/PAWG reference. 

Training 

A department/faculty briefing session on these activities will be held in the week commencing Monday 11 January 2021. The invite to the briefing session will be cascaded to departmental colleagues who take part in these activities by faculties/Student Lifecycle Team in due course. If you are unable to attend, a recording will be made available after. Also, at the beginning of January 2021, online training materials on the activities will be made available to departments. 

The deadline for changes is 26 March 2021.
