2020/21 Module Catalogue now available

The online Module Catalogue has been updated with key information about the modules available for the 2020/21 academic session. Current and prospective students can now browse through the catalogue to start planning their module choices for the coming year.

What's new…

A few improvements have been made in response to feedback from users:

• Links to module information pages have been modified so they continue to work for module codes where the title has changed for 2020/21, meaning existing links on departmental pages do not need updating
• Search values are now matched against module code, module title, keywords and subjects only, to improve the accuracy of the results retrieved
• Module leaders' names now display preferred forenames to better reflect how staff are known by their students
• Guidance about alternative methods of assessment for affiliate students has been amended for clarity

2019/20 archive

The 2019/20  Module Catalogue has been archived and individual module pages can be accessed via Portico as follows:

• Student access is via the module title links in the 'My Modules' container
• Staff access is via the 'Modules and Assessments' task

Next steps

Staff can make amendments to module leader and teaching period information only via the 'Curriculum Data Maintenance - Modules and Assessments' container in Portico until 30 June 2020. These changes will be reflected in the 2020/21 catalogue when it is refreshed in July.
