2018/19 External Examiners Reports without a Departmental Response – next step for Departments

Departments must now provide an offline response directly to External Examiners where a standard response was not entered on Portico and the 2018/19 report has been closed. The response and the report should be shared with Students and uploaded on Moodle
The 2018/19 External Examiners (EE) reports without a standard Departmental response (i.e. those not in the Formal Approval Process) have now been closed and a list of these reports will be submitted to the upcoming Quality Review Sub-Committee meeting.
The affected Departments / Board teams are now required to send a formal response directly to EE and upload the response and EE report onto Moodle for students to access. A response is still required even if the report is entirely positive (i.e. to thank the External Examiner for their report). Please consult / notify your Faculty Tutors once completed.
