Coming Soon: New Interruptions Online Workflow

A number of changes to Interruption of Study are planned for 2020-21 including:

• A new online workflow to manage the student request and approval process
• More support for students before, during and after interruption
• Departmental approval of standard interruptions
• More help and guidance for Departments on how to support students
• Replacing the backdating of interruptions with the Extenuating Circumstances procedures, helping UCL to meet its obligations with regards to fees, funding, visas etc. 
• Interruptions for flexible/ modular students in their final year of study

The regulations are being submitted to Education Committee for final approval on 30 July. Further details will be published in early August.
