Progression and Award Rules Update

Enhanced Portico functionality is now available to enable staff to view the progression and award rules that have been associated with their taught programmes in Portico in plain English.

The new functionality can be accessed via Curricular Management > Programme Rules and Review > View Programme Rules (Progression and Award).

Progression and award rules enable Portico to calculate the appropriate outcomes for students based on the academic regulations. Staff are encouraged to view these rules prior to holding their boards this summer and report any issues to lifecycle@ucl.ac.uk.
