The bursary will be paid in the form of a deduction of the bursary amount from your Term 1 accommodation invoice. The deduction will be made in your first year (2024/25) at the following rates:

All students in receipt of the UCL Undergraduate Bursary or an Access UCL offer who have met the eligibility requirements will automatically receive a bursary.

How to apply

You do not need to complete an application form. Provided that you have completed the steps above, you will be automatically assessed for an award.

If you hold an insurance offer which becomes firm after the deadline stated above, you will be eligible for the bursary if you are able to secure accommodation at UCL at a later stage.

Confirmation of your bursary will be emailed to you by end of September (or later in the term if your household income has yet to be assessed by Student Finance).
