Professor Sir Malcolm Grant Undergraduate Scholarship

This scholarship aims to enable UK students who can demonstrate financial need as well as show leadership potential, to pursue their studies at UCL

Value: £25,000 spread equally over the duration of study

Eligible students: UK domiciled with Home fee status

Eligibility

Eligible candidates must:

  • be UK domiciled with Home fee status;
  • be in financial need as assessed by UCL;
  • hold an offer of admission to UCL to study a full-time undergraduate degree for the 2024/25 intake.

Value, benefits, and duration

The award will be £25,000 spread evenly over the standard duration of study and is subject to satisfactory academic progress. The scholarship can be applied to cover tuition fees or maintenance costs depending on the awardee's preference.


Selection

The criteria for awarding the bursary is financial need and leadership potential you will need to demonstrate these in the application.


How to apply

The Professor Sir Malcolm Grant Undergraduate Scholarship is one of the schemes that make up the Undergraduate Funding and Access Awards (UGFA).

Results

The UGFA will be awarded by recommendation by a panel composed of UCL staff. The successful candidates will be notified as soon as decisions are made by mid-September.
