Lombardi-Goldman Sachs Fund

The aim of the Lombardi-Goldman Sachs Fund is to enable and encourage UK students in financial need to pursue a UCL undergraduate degree in a STEM subject at UCL.

Value: £1,600 in Year 1
Available to: Prospective students
Selection criteria: Financial need
Eligible fee status: UK domiciled with Home fee status
Eligible programmes: All full-time undergraduate programmes in the Faculties of Brain Sciences, Engineering Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical & Physical Sciences, Medical Sciences and Population Health Sciences. 
Deadline: Monday 8 July 2024

Eligibility

Eligible candidates must:

  • be domiciled in the UK with Home fee status;
  • be in financial need as assessed by UCL;
  • hold an offer of admission to UCL to study a full-time undergraduate degree in an eligible Faculty for the 2024/25 intake.

Value, benefits, and duration

The award provides £1,600 in Year 1 for maintenance costs.

One award is available for 2024/25.


Selection

The criterion for awarding the bursary is financial need and you will need to demonstrate this in the application.


How to apply

The Lombardi-Goldman Sachs Fund is one of the schemes that make up the Undergraduate Funding and Access Awards (UGFA).

To be considered for the Lombardi-Goldman Sachs Fund, please follow the procedure on the UGFA webpage.


Results

The UGFAs will be awarded by recommendation by a panel composed of UCL staff. The successful candidates will be notified as soon as decisions are made by mid-September.
