The aim of the Lombardi-Goldman Sachs Fund is to enable and encourage UK students in financial need to pursue a UCL undergraduate degree in a STEM subject at UCL.
Eligibility
Eligible candidates must:
- be domiciled in the UK with Home fee status;
- be in financial need as assessed by UCL;
- hold an offer of admission to UCL to study a full-time undergraduate degree in an eligible Faculty for the 2025/26 intake.
Value, benefits, and duration
The award provides £1,600 in Year 1 for maintenance costs only.
One award is available for 2025/26.
Selection
The criterion for awarding the bursary is financial need and you will need to demonstrate this in the application.
How to apply
The Lombardi-Goldman Sachs Fund is one of the schemes that make up the Undergraduate Funding and Access Awards (UGFA).

Results
The UGFAs will be awarded by recommendation by a panel composed of UCL staff. The successful candidates will be notified as soon as decisions are made by mid-September.
