The UCL Environment Research Domain assists researchers across UCL with an interest in all areas of water research
UCL has expertise in freshwater and aquatic systems; climate change and implications on hydrology, groundwater and ecological systems; metrics of freshwater; water supply and sanitation; marine and estuarine environments; flooding and hazards and the relationship water has with people. Research interests are spread across a variety of departments and faculties including:

UCL is also one of the founding members of the South East and London Water Alliance (SEAL) which is committed to promoting multi-disciplinary, multi institutional water focussed research which has real world policy and stakeholder linkages.
