Our vision
ERIO's European Contract Management team helps UCL researchers to understand, to apply for and to negotiate European Commission Research & Innovation grants, makes European funding more accessible to academics, and increases UCL’s European research portfolio.
Summary
The European Contract Management team assists academics with applying for and negotiating Horizon Europe project contracts for European Research Council (ERC) grants, Marie Skłodowska-Curie training actions, and proposals where UCL is to be a partner in a collaborative project. We also assist UCL researchers with applications for other European Commission-funded research activities, such as the "COST" programme.
We support researchers through every stage of the pre-award process, from initial discussions about calls and project budgets, to negotiating projects' Grant Agreements and Consortium Agreements. Whether you are interested in applying for a specific Horizon Europe call or would simply like to know more, our team can provide you with professional support throughout the pre-award cycle.
What we do
We manage budgeting, proposal support, contract negotiation and contract amendments for:
- European Research Council (ERC)
- Marie Skłodowska-Curie
- When UCL is a partner in a collaborative project
- Other European Commission funding sources (including COST, ECDC, and INTERREG directly funded research)
