Please note that you can bring a maximum of one guest with you.
- When are the UCL Open Days?
The Open Days will be taking place on Friday 28 and Saturday 29 June 2024. The programme is repeated, with most activities the same, on both days so you only need to attend one day.
- What time is the Open Day?
The Open Days will be from 10am until 4pm on Friday 28 and Saturday 29 June 2024.
- Can I attend both days?
We ask that you only book onto one Open Day to give as many people as possible the opportunity to attend. Most activities are the same on both days.
- I have a disability - What do I need to know or do?
We want to ensure that your visit to UCL is enjoyable. Please let us know on the Open Day booking form if you have any accessibility needs. If you didn’t do so at time of booking, please contact us at openday@ucl.ac.uk and we will do our best to meet all your requirements.
- Can schools book group of students to attend the Open Day?
Unfortunately it is not possible to accommodate group bookings for the Open Days. Students should be encouraged to book directly.
- If I cannot attend, is there another possibility to find out more about UCL?
If you can’t make it our Open Days there are lots of other ways you can find out about UCL. The Open Day subject pages are filled with an array of useful videos about your intended programmes of study and professional student services. The videos will include important and helpful information on course structure, assessments, admission processes, funding and entry requirements.
We also run Campus Tours of the Bloomsbury campus throughout the year so you can visit us at a date and time that suits you. Tours are led by our Student Ambassadors. Further information and the booking form can be found on the Campus Tours website. To visit UCL East see the Find us page. Please note that Student Residences and visits to academic departments are not part of the general campus tour.
- Does UCL provide any financial assistance for travel if you want to attend the Open Day?
We are pleased to offer a limited number of travel bursaries for prospective Year 12 students to attend one of the Open Days. The bursary will help cover travel costs (rail or public transport) for students from underrepresented groups. Further information, including eligibility criteria, can be found Open Day Travel Bursary page.
Who should attend the Open Day?
- I am applying for undergraduate study soon, is your Open Day right for me?
Yes, attending an Open Day before applying to study with us is the perfect way to find out more about your programmes of interest, to explore our campus and get a feel for what it is like to study at UCL.
- I am interested in a graduate degree - can I come to your Open Day?
This Open Day is aimed at prospective undergraduate students. If you are interested in postgraduate studies, we will be running Open Day events focusing on that later in the year and details will be published on our website.
- Are Open Days suitable for Offer Holders?
Open Days are aimed at prospective students, together with their family or carers, to help them learn more about UCL. If you are an Offer holder you will be emailed directly about centrally run sessions or those organised by your admitting department. These events are run both virtually and in-person.
- Can friends and family attend the Open Day?
To ensure that as many students as possible can take part in our Open Days we are limiting the number of guests to one per prospective student. This guest can be anyone of your choosing, but we recommend bringing someone who is helping you consider your university options.
Things to know before your visit
- How do I download the UCL App?

It is not possible to book onto a session in advance. We will be admitting students on a first come first served basis. Please note many of the sessions will be popular and demand may be high. For this reason, we will only be allowing a maximum of one guest per student in all sessions.
If you are not able to get into a session you may find that it is repeated later in the day. You will also have the opportunity to speak to staff at our Faculty Fair to find out more about a particular programme of study.
