DoM Athena Swan - ECR pump-priming award (up to £5,000)

The Athena Swan Self-Assessment Team is very excited to launch, in 2024, a new ECRs pump priming award, aimed at funding up to £5,000 in consumable money to be used in a 6-month timeframe to generate preliminary data to use in a fellowship application.

ECR pump-priming award (currently closed for 2023-24)

This award is aimed at post-docs within the Division, with at least 2 years’ experience post-PhD.

The Heads of each Research Department will triage applications and ONE application from each Department will be sent to a panel for evaluation, shortlisting and interview.
