Professor Rachel Batterham awarded her OBE for services to people affected by obesity

Professor Rachel Batterham was awarded an OBE for services to people affected by obesity. Professor  Batterham received her award from HRH Prince William, at Windsor Castle on Wednesday.

"I was humbled and honored to receive my OBE from HRH Prince William, Prince of Wales, at Windsor Castle for services to people affected by obesity.

I dedicate this award to everyone fighting to improve the lives of those living with obesity. I would like to pay tribute to the brilliant scientists, clinicians and advocates with lived experience I've worked with over the years.

There is still much to be done but scientific advances mean we are now on the cusp of a major transformation in obesity care which will improve the health of millions of people globally."
