For International Women’s Day, the Early Career Research and Athena Swan Teams will be holding a Women’s Health Research Spotlight Seminar from 3-4pm on the 8th of March in the 2nd-floor seminar room in the Rayne Building with networking afterward. A keynote talk about female sex hormones and exercise during the life cycle by Dr Nicky Keay will kick off the event.
As well as our keynote speaker Dr Nicky Keay, we will be highlighting research innovations in women’s health through the following short talks (as well as bonus video abstract from Sam Sharp and Roni Mashiach-Fransis):
- Dr Hannah Peckham: Complex interplay between sex chromosomes, sex hormones and class-switch recombination of B lymphocytes.
- Dr Julia Zollner: Is genetics the key to understanding intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy?
- Florence Rowe RD: Investigation into the Association Between Hormones Levels, Vitamin D, and Muscle in Peri and Post-Menopausal Women.
